Black-headed Gull Chroicocephalus ridibundus are back with a vengeance now that the water levels have started to be lowered. Amongst the raucous gulls the drake Green-winged Teal Anas carolinensis was still present on Island Lake. The pair of Stonechat Saxicola rubicola were on Cell C of Dryham Ings. Two Red Kite Milvus milvus were north of the reserve, one eventually passing over to the south.
