North Cave Wetlands – 13/11/2018

A quick morning visit prior to 9am. Sunny morning with light southerly breeze, temperature around eight degrees C.

An immature Whooper Swan Cygnus cygnus dropped into Main Lake briefly with a pair of Mute Swan Cygnus olor. The resident Mutes then pushed this group off the lake, the trio moving on to Village Lake. Four Curlew Numenius arquata were in the field by the entrance with a female Bullfinch Pyrrhula pyrrhula present around the viewing platform on Village Lake.
