North Cave Wetlands – 08/10/2019

A sunny morning, eventually clouding over, with a gentle to moderate south-westerly breeze blowing. Temperature around 14 degrees C.

A short visit, only covering Dryham Lane. Nothing unusual found on the insect front. The Botaurus stellaris Bittern was still present on Main Lake, seen flying into the north-west reeds shortly after mid-day. Two Panurus biarmicus Bearded Tit flew over the lane into Cell C of Dryham Ings.
