How to submit your records
Records can be submitted in a number of ways as detailed below:-
Via e-mail to the relevant vice-county recorder. Up to date contact details can be found on the British Dragonfly Society website as a Word document at the following link: Vice County Recorders
Yorkshire Recorders are as follows:-
VC61 – Paul Ashton – vc61@erdragonflies.co.uk
VC62 – Keith Gittens – vc62@brilliantemerald.wanadoo.co.uk
VC63 – Tom Hubball – vc63dragonfly@blueyonder.co.uk
VC64 – Helen Dinsdale – bds64recorder@blueyonder.co.uk
VC65 – Tom Hubball – vc63dragonfly@blueyonder.co.uk
Records can also be submitted via Excel spreadsheet to the relevant recorder. DRN Species Recorder is available for download from the British Dragonfly Society on the National Atlas page. This enables observers to enter their records via an input template into an excel spreadsheet. The underlying spreadsheet can then be e-mailed to the relevant recorder at the end of the season.
A simpler Excel spreadsheet is also available for more casual records.
Alternatively the following PDF document can be printed and sent in via surface mail (13kb).

MapMate – All records are input directly in to MapMate, therefore if anybody is using this software they can submit their records directly from the program. If you would like to use this method then please get in touch with Paul Ashton, who will then supply details and CUK number to enable transfer of records.
